Full Body Cam Footage: Nashville Mass Shooting

Metropolitan Police have disclosed the body camera footage documenting The Covenant School shooting, cautioning viewers of the graphic content and advising them to watch at their own discretion.

The footage portrays officers meticulously examining each classroom as they navigate the school corridors, ultimately ascending the stairs to confront the shooter. An initial sequence of four gunshots causes the assailant to collapse, followed by an additional four shots. Officers reiterate directives for the shooter to desist from moving and to "get your hand away from the gun." Subsequently, they confirm the suspect's neutralization and seize the firearm.

On March 27, a gunman claimed the lives of six individuals at The Covenant School. A mere 14 minutes after receiving the 911 call at 10:13 a.m., Metro Police subdued the shooter: 28-year-old Audrey Hale.

Gaining entry through a side door by shooting the lock, Hale proceeded upstairs and fired at officers through windows. The assailant, a resident of Nashville's Belmont-Hillsboro neighborhood, was engaged by two officers: four-year Metropolitan Nashville Police Department (MNPD) veteran Rex Englebert and nine-year MNPD veteran Michael Collazo.

Victims in the tragic shooting included Mike Hill (61), Katherine Koonce (60), Cynthia Peak (61), Evelyn Dieckhaus (9), Hallie Scruggs (9), and William Kinney (9).
